Preschool Program

Challa Gardens Preschool is situated on the Challa Gardens school site.

We offer a play-based educational program that supports the development of children’s social and emotional skills. We work closely with families to provide meaningful learning experiences for all children.

In South Australia, all children are entitled to access a preschool program over four terms the year before they start school.

Our centre is open Monday - Thursday 8.00am -3.30pm and Friday 9.30-1.30

We have 2 groups Group A and Group B.

Group A attend all day Monday and Tuesday.

Group B attend all day Wednesday and Thursday.

Staff attend each Friday for planning and professional learning.

Enrolment

Intake 1 - Children who turn 4 years of age before 1 May are eligible to start preschool at the beginning of each year (term 1).

Intake 2 - Children who turn 4 years of age before 1 November are eligible to start preschool mid-year the same year (term 3).

Aboriginal children can start Preschool at the beginning of the term following their third birthday.
